In order to expedite and improve the accuracy of the score reporting process, we will be requiring all communities to enter their own scores this year. Guidelines: - Each community coordinator will get a single login ID and password. If you are part of a group that does not have a central coordinator, this information will be given to the coach of the team in the oldest age level. - The community coordinator may share this ID and password with the coaches or other members of their league as desired, but the community coordinator is ultimately responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate entering of scores for games involving a team from their community. - The home team is asked to input the scores of games played within 24 hours of the completion of the game. The away team is able to enter scores for games as well, but we ask that the home team be given 24 hours to do this before the away team becomes involved in entering the score. - While we understand it is likely that several coaches in one league may have access to the userID and password, be aware that we will only accept request to reset passwords from the one community coordinator entrusted with the user id, and not from coaches representing that community. We do this to make sure that each community coordinator is the central point of contact with the league, as well as to make sure that all changes will be communicated within each of your communities appropriately. How to get started: 1. Navigate out to www.masonpony.org 2. Login with your community ID and Password using the Manager’s Home button on the home page. Each community will be provided one single ID. Each community coordinator can determine whether or not they will share the ID and PW with their coaches, but should ensure the scores for games their community hosts will be input into the system in a timely fashion, within 24 hours of completion of the game. 3. Upon logging into the system, you will see this screen: 1) Change Password: From this link you will have the ability to change the password for the account you are currently logged in as. If this account is shared with a group of coaches, please keep make sure that you notify everyone that should have access to submit scores. Feel free to change your password from the default one that was assigned to you. 2) Modify Today’s Games: In this section you will see the games that are scheduled for the current date where one or more of the teams involved are teams that you are allowed to enter scores for. This section will show games where a team you represent was either the home or away team. i. In this section you see games for teams your ID represents that have already been played, yet do not have a score entered yet. You have the ability to ‘Add Score’, or to ‘Cancel/Postpone’. The option to add a score exists for games you are the home team for, and those you are the away team for. 3) Add score/Edit Score: You will see a screen containing a section similar to the one shown below. Please double check to be sure you are entering the correct score for the correct team. Game results and standings are updated immediately upon hitting submit. Once a score has been entered, you do still have the ability to edit it by clicking the edit score button – but this option ONLY exists if the score is entered the day the game is played. Once the score has been entered and the date of the game has passed, please contact the coordinator of the division in question in order to accomplish this. 4) Cancel/Postpone: Clicking this link will allow the user to cancel or postpone the game that was selected. This notification will appear on the main page at www.masonpony.org. 5) These Games Need Score: This section will show all games that were scheduled to be played prior to the current date, but don’t yet have a score associated. You are also able to enter a score for these games, and cancel or postpone them. Once a game in this section has had a score entered, it will disappear from the page. 6) Pictures If so desired, you may upload pictures that will display on your team page on the site. This option only exists for the teams you control with your user ID. This, as well as the next two options, gives you the opportunity to have an online presence for your team(s) this upcoming season. 7) Articles If so desired, you may add articles that will only display on your team page on the site. This option only exists for the teams you control with your user ID.
