(Social entrepreneurship VS business entrepreneurship)
Participants findings:
The education of social entrepreneurship
The objective of the activity is to develop and share educational tools that develop the
competences of young people in the framework of social entrepreneurship.
For example,
The findings from all participants and their comments:
1. The chess: the educational benefits of chess contribute to the developments of
strategic thinking in relation to social entrepreneurship.
(A)To be flexible, to sacrifice something to win something bigger B) Know the rules
C)Anticipate consequences (plan before making move) D) Evaluate risk E) Use all
pieces F) Know your opponent F)Focus on the goal.
Play chess online athttp://www.sparkchess.com/, or a video of the educational tool).
2. Board game: Dostihy a sazky (horse races and bets)
A classic Czech pre-revolution monopoly clone. Buy horse champions and place them
in your stable. Earn money when other players visit your stable, lose money when
you visit theirs. Hire trainers, draw cards of luck and finances, place bets on horses.
Last player not bankrupt wins the game.
One of few "modern" board games available before 1989 revolution in former
Czechoslovakia.
The game develops our skills in these areas: strategy, flexibility, readiness,
communication (hanggling with prices), capability for risking and pfrediction. I think
that all these values are vital for every social entrepreneur. The link:

8. Matteo Calautti states that his sport, basketball, could be a right metaphor
regarding Social Entrepreneurship. In order to be successful in this sport, you need to
cure many important aspects:
A) STRATEGY: No team without strategy could win in a basketball match. You need to
cure the organisational of your play in order to be ready to achieve the result.
B) SYNERGY: You need a real synergy between you and your coworkers in order to
actualize your aim.
C) CLEAR PURPOSE: Your purpose must be clear to be realized. As a metaphor, in my
sport there is the basket.
E) RIGOR: You need rigor the realize your purpose. A not cured method couldn't
bring you any results.
F) CONTINUOUS TRAINING: It's impossible to realize something without the right
preparation. The more are the details the more you need to cure them in a
continuous way.
He believes that it could be a simple and understandable metaphor.
9. This visualisation game (activity) is appropriate for all young (not children) people.
While having yours eyes closed, you have to think about your future and how you
want to prepare for it so you can achieve everything you want. This activity is
used for "normal" entrepreneurship, but can be also moderated for social
entrepreneurship. All the rules are described in the link below: http://www.entreed.org/_teach/vis-act.htm Another simple game that can be used as educational
game for SE is non-formal educational method: charades :) In the form most played
today, it is an acting game in which one player acts out a word or phrase, often by
miming similar-sounding words, and the other players guess the word or phrase. The
goal of Charades is to facilitate the child’s awareness of how emotion, identity and
social situation can be conveyed through faces. This game can increase awareness
about social problems that people are facing.

10. Trivia quiz for learning - http://www.triviaplaza.com/
People can educate themselves through playing a quiz game. Quizes are based on
various topics, so why social entrepeneurship wouldn't be one of them.
11. http://www.villagethegame.com/about A social enterprise simulation :. The mission
of Village the Game is to spread the proven solutions to poverty. The strategy is to
inspire to people fall in love with these solutions and become the supporters and
volunteer sales force of these companies. Our tactic is to let them discover solutions
via online game.
12. Two practical games related to social entrepreneurship can be downloaded here.
13. Social Entrepreneur: The Card Game http://www.ac4d.com/.../social-entrepreneurthe-card-game/ If we want to promote social entrepreneurship we should be less
focused on the task of unearthing these super-people and more focused on creating
an environment that this behaviour to thrive. It is reason some people created a card
game to show how important the environment is in the promotion or
discouragement of social entrepreneurs. Print the cards and give it a try!
14. Dixit is a card game created by Jean-Louis Roubira, and published by Libellud. Using a
deck of cards illustrated with dreamlike images, players select cards that match a
title suggested by the "storyteller", and attempt to guess which card the "storyteller"
selected. The game was introduced in 2008. Dixit won the 2010 Spiel des Jahres
award.
In the S.E. you have also some "cards" that you can play and that you have to
combine in order to reach your aim...I believe that this game needs some skills that
you also need for S.E.

Great online course for enterpreneurs/social
entrepreneurs:https://www.canvas.net/.../courses/creative-box-english
Innovation is a major part of business success. But what is innovation and how do you
innovate? Can anyone do it, in business or in everyday life?
I think the answer to that question is yes, and I want to help you discover how by sharing a
simple process with you: four exploratory steps, creative but also realistic, designed to wake
up the potential innovator in all of us.
The Creative Box course is open to everyone, free and accessible online. It offers two types
of certificate from ESSCA, the prestigious business school in France. The teaching team
behind Creative Box have designed it carefully to offer sophisticated know-how to the
greatest number of people.
Now I wrote to my friend from Eu trainers and he sent me this:
https://www.coursera.org/course/socialentrepeneur
In this course you will learn how to create societal impact through Social Entrepreneurship
(S-ENT). S-ENT describes the discovery and sustainable exploitation of opportunities to
create social change. We will introduce you to S-ENT examples and guide you through the
process of identifying an opportunity to address social problems as well as outlining your
idea in a business plan.
I also find another very good online course with evaluation 5*
https://www.coursera.org/learn/businessinsociety
In this course we will be discussing the emergence of a new story about business. This new
story locates business within a societal framework. Almost every business creates or
destroys value for customers, suppliers, employees, communities and society, in addition to
shareholders and other financiers. A number of new models of business can be built on this
idea such as corporate responsibility, philanthropy, shared value and sustainability. Profits
and stakeholder value go together, and this course explains how. The final session explores
the idea of how to become a stakeholder entrepreneur and create a business that makes
money and makes the world a better place.
Course is for free without certificate, certificate cost 40 euro.

-Croatians run and exercise a lot, and we also have many charity races. One of the most
famous is Wings for Life World run where people from all over the world participate. To
encourage healthy lifestyle more and to help some social cause, it would be even better to
have the Charity Miles application. So, Charity Miles app lets you raise money for your
favorite causes while walking, running or biking. The app's corporate sponsors donate 25
cents for each mile you walk or run, and 10 cents for each mile you bike. In this app, it
would be even better if you could choose the cause to support and like every app it should
be really optimized and user friendly for easier app experience. Here is youtube

and you can also download the app on your phone
-App BOS:311 enables Boston's residents to improve their neighborhoods by reporting
issues such as broken streetlamps, potholes and other issues. Reports go to local
government who sends it to responsible organizations who will then solve the issue. Users
are informed weather issues are solved or not. Frequent users get rewarded and people
who solve the problems can be recognized by virtual high-fives.
In Estonia the same application "Anna teada" is launched on a governmental level.
Although still in the beginning phases, application has the potential to make Estonia as
well as other countries a better place to live in by increasing civil society engagement.
