Dear Naomi
The DBA is fine and is all that is required pre-determination of this proposal.
There are some archaeological issues associated with this road including the
brick works but these should be dealt with once SCC has initiated the project
and taken control of the land.
I advise that the following condition be attached to permission to ensure all
appropriate archaeological investigations take place:
No development shall take place until the applicant, or their agents or
successors in title, have secured the implementation of a programme of
archaeological works in accordance with a written scheme of investigation
which has been submitted to and approved in writing by the County Planning
Authority.

Dear Steve,
Can you just confirm for me that the attached is acceptable for a
planning submission prior to me asking for hard copies?
Many thanks
Naomi

Dear Naomi
Please find attached a copy of the archaeological desk-based
assessment for the above scheme – apologies for the slight delay in
getting this to you.
