Commitment Form
My child, ________________________, will be able to participate in the Beta
Convention Trip November 20-22, 2016 if he/she makes one of the competition teams
from Bon Lin Middle. The tryouts are Monday, September 26, 2016 immediately after
school in the Learning Lab. Robotics, Tower Power, Quiz Bowl and Banner are all
team competitions, and your child must already be signed up as a member of one of
those teams to compete. I am aware that the price for the trip could be $140 to $205, and
that price does not include 7 meals that will be eaten during our travel and stay. The
price includes registration fee, charter bus travel to and from the convention, and two
nights stay in The Opryland Hotel. We would need a commitment form by Monday,
September 26 for your child to compete, and at least $75 dollar deposit by
Wednesday, September 29, 2016 if your child wins in his/her division.
