The Larson Electronics EPL-MGS-480V-100A.3P-37.5KVA-200A-10X120V explosion proof power transformer substation converts 480V
AC three phase electrical current to single phase 120V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute
480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This substation is equipped with a C1D1
disconnect, a C1D2 480V to 120V 37.5 KVA encapsulated transformer, C1D1 200-amp main panel, and ten 20-amp 125V C1D1
receptacles.

Operation: The 20’ #4 SOOW line-in cable brings 480V power to the 100-amp Class 1, Division 1 main disconnect, which is fused at 100 amps
and is protecting the 37.5 KVA transformer. The Class 1, Division 2 resin encapsulated transformer converts 480V 3-phase power to 120V single
phase and passes the current to the secondary panel. The Class 1, Division 1 200-amp main circuit breaker panel contains ten 20-amp 120V
breakers protecting ten Class 1, Division 1 20-amp 5-20 receptacles.
Protective Construction: Unlike many portable power distribution boxes made of plastic and utilizing thin gauge, low grade metals in their
construction, this unit is designed for serious use and is ruggedly constructed to withstand demanding conditions and heavy duty industrial
applications. The transformer and load assembly is mounted on a 1/4" thick non-sparking aluminum plate mounting platform and the load
center/distribution assembly is mounted to the standard 2" x 2" x 1/8" square non-sparking aluminum tubing frame, resulting in an extremely
stable, durable and well protected power distribution platform. This model is equipped with forklift skid pockets, 6" anti-static locking polyurethane
casters, and a top located lifting eyelet allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This can be replaced with stainless steel or hot dip
galvanized steel for an additional cost. Larger units are available upon request, and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted.
