Girls Swim Team
BIG IN ORCHARD FARM
WIN THE MEET!!
TOURNAMENT
Last week our Varsity Boys Basketball Team
and JV Boys Basketball Team competed in
two different tournaments held at
Orchard Farm.
Our JV team, led by Coach Jay Laue, came in
1st PLACE!!!
The Varsity team, led by head coach, Mike
Fitzgerald and asst. coach, Brian Boehm,
won 2nd PLACE!!! WE ARE SO PROUD!!
Boys Wrestling comes in
4th PLACE (out of 16
teams) at the McCluer South
/ Berkeley Invitational on
Saturday, January 19th!!

The girls swim team had a great meet at McCluer
South/Berkley on Thursday, January 24th.
Five swimmers swam in a new event for the first time,
all with great success!! We had a great race in the 200
IM, with Lydia McCurren (Sr.) out touching Mediha
Husejnovic (Soph) to win by one 10th of a second.
Both girls swam 10 seconds faster than their previous
best times! Mediha had a great meet, getting best
times in all four of her events. Samantha Tomlin also
got a best time in the 100 freestyle by dropping 4
seconds. Because of these great swims and many others
the girls beat McCluer South/Berkley 122-18!
Varsity Girls Basketball Team
takes 5th place in Affton Tournament!!

for making the ALL-TOURNAMENT
TEAM AGAIN!!!
