Faxing with Call Pilot Virtual Fax
For functionality of Call Pilot Virtual Fax, the Desktop Messaging Software needs downloaded
on your computer. Go to http://oit.siu.edu/telecommunications/service-departments/voicemail/desktop-messaging.php
Any document that has ability to print from the computer; you can print.
Change Printer
to “CallPilot Fax”

Campus: 7 digit or 5 digit
number – no dashes
Local: 9XXXXXXX
Long Distance:
8,12345,XXXXXXXXXX
Enter Fax
Number
Enter Subject
Check to receive delivery
confirmation
Click Send button when ready to
send fax
Click Modify to edit Cover Page
Enter Password for Virtual Fax
Click OK
Check Remember Password
and you will not have to enter
a password for every fax you
send.

and click OK
Click Preview to
see cover sheet
