CWT Makes the Cut, Only Singapore Firm in Forbes Asia Fab 50 List
SINGAPORE, September 17, 2013 – CWT Limited (“CWT” or the “Group”), a leading solutions provider of
integrated logistics and supply chain management, is pleased to announce that it has been included on
Forbes Asia Fabulous 50 (“Fab 50”) list for 2013, ranking the best big publicly-traded companies in the
Asia Pacific region. CWT was among 18 regional debutantes and the only Singapore firm which makes the
cut in the Fab 50 list.
The 50 chosen companies represent the region's best of the best, reflecting solid financial track records
and great management and entrepreneurial skill. This year’s winners not only survived but thrived amid
testing times of slowing growth, gyrating currencies and stagnation in export markets in the US and
Europe, Forbes Asia said.
“We are very honoured to be ranked among Asia’s most elite companies, which clearly recognizes our
success in the last year in which we achieved record-breaking results driven by our operational excellence
and expanding commodity supply chain management business,” said CWT Group CEO Loi Pok Yen. “I
would like to share this prestigious recognition with and thank our employees, shareholders and business
partners for their continuous support, which has enabled CWT to evolve into a global logistics and supply
chain leader today. Moving forward, we will continue to work hard to deliver, invest and grow to add value
for our customers and stakeholders.”
The Fab 50 companies are selected from a pool of 1,220 companies with at least US$3 billion in annual
revenue or market capitalization. Companies are analyzed in several areas, including revenue, profits,
return on capital, share-price movements and outlook. The list excludes companies with too much debt or
where the government owns at least half of the shares.
The full Fab 50 list can be found at www.forbes.com/fab50/list and in the September issue of Forbes Asia.
