• Children will be served a nutritionally balanced meal
• Water, fruit and bread available freely
• No sweets, fizzy drinks or crisps will be served at mealtimes

Travel Plans!
Departure from school on Friday:
• Children to come to school in trip clothes on Friday 11th March 2016. All luggage to
be left where directed.
• Lunchtime – hot dinners will be as normal - packed lunch children will need to bring
their lunch in a disposable bag/container.
• At 1:30pm the children will be able to have a drink and go to the toilet, then collect
their luggage from the hall.
• Parents are welcome to come and see their children off at around 2:00pm
• The coaches will depart West Walton, then collect from Walpole, Terrington & Tilney.
• They are due to arrive at Hilltop at 4pm.
For arrival back at school on the Sunday:
• Children are due back at West Walton School by 5pm.
• Parents from Tilney, Terrington and Walpole will need to arrange collection from
West Walton.
• We will notify you if there are delays of 30 minutes or more.
• Please allow the staff time to get the children off the coaches and into the
playground safely, they will then be dismissed to parents.
Important Information
• We will be very busy with activities so will only text
parents when we arrive at Hilltop on Friday 11th and
depart Sunday 13th.
• If we need to speak to an individual parent for any
reason we will call you.
• Please do not send your children with
sweets/chocolate, mobile phones, I pods & electrical
game consoles or any aerosol’s (deodorants should
be roll on, no hairspray)

Challenge by Choice
Challenge by Choice is the ethos at Hilltop, with
the emphasis continuing to be on Learning
through Activity, Enjoyment, Achievement,
Discovery and Reflection.
The centre is modern, centrally heated and fully
equipped. Staff bedrooms are interspersed with
the children's bedrooms that accommodate 2-8
children.

• Hilltop takes safety very seriously. They have
extensive risk assessments, comprehensive systems
for procedures, maintenance, training and operating
plans.

Bedding – your child will need a sleeping bag
• Waterproof Jacket and Trousers
• Outdoor shoes/boots/trainers (2 pairs)
• Wellies
• Indoor shoes or slippers (not slipper socks)
• Sets of old clothes ( warm for winter)
• Hat & gloves (winter)
• Personal wash items, towel and toiletries bag
• Indoor cloths for meals and evenings
• Torch and spare batteries
• Hair bands if needed & watch (not expensive)
• Refillable Water Bottle
• Swimming kit
• A bin bag for wet & dirty clothes – clearly labelled with your
child’s name
• Hilltop Souvenir shop money no more than £5.00 in a named
envelope and given to the school secretary on Fri 11th
