Bus leaves YOUTH CLUB & LOCATION

SkiDUCK Volunteers meet @ Squaw base inside the Olympic House, 1st floor by the Wildflour
Baking Co., for lift tickets & instructions (diagonally behind the Cable Car building).

ARRIVAL & RENTALS: Bus arrives at @ Squaw Valley; meet SkiDUCK volunteers inside the
Olympic House, 1st floor by the Wildflour Baking Co., for lift tickets & instructions (diagonally
behind the Cable Car building). Also, get gloves, goggles/sunglasses, jackets as needed.
Then move kids to the respective ski and snowboard rental shops to enter rental info and print
rental forms/get fitted. (Be sure to ask if anyone needs to use restrooms before lessons, and tell
everyone where to meet after lessons; which may vary between upper or lower mtn by event.)
10:30 LESSONS: Lessons meet in front of the ski rentals building. Lower mountain lessons will return
by 12:30 to the same area (central firepit). If upper mountain lessons; may be released at High
Camp (top of the Cable Car/top of Bailey’s Beach chair). (Storm days: lower mtn only.)
12:30 LUNCH: Lunch location may vary by date. Occasional catered lunches and storm days will
always be lower mountain, either 1st or 2nd floor of the Olympic House. Bring-your-own sack
lunches may be either lower or upper mountain (High Camp); up to each group to decide.

FREE RIDE: 2 hours free-riding with kids. (Lifts OK if all kids in group were taught to use lifts
during their lesson.) Be sure to tell all kids to return to top of cable car or head down the
mountain to return equipment to rental shop BY 3:30.

RETURN EQUIPMENT: Beginners must use the Cable Car to return to base of mountain, to
return rental equipment & meet with group. Advanced riders can ski/ride down. (Kids should
mention SkiDUCK when returning equipment.)

Load bus and depart Squaw Valley.
Safety first, then have fun… the learning & skills will come.
Adult Volunteer Liability Waivers MUST be completed/signed in order to participate.
Any youth without a parent-signed Liability Waiver MUST sit out the entire day.
