Graduates of the TNEU are government officials, managers, leading specialists and scientists well-known in Ukraine and abroad. The third President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko (2005-2010), was among the graduates of the University.The TNEU trains specialists in education and qualification levels of Bachelor, Master and staff of higher qualifications in Post-graduate and Doctoral studies. In 1999, the TNEU became the member of the European Association of International Education, in 2012 – Talloires Network, in 2013 – Border University Network, in 2014 – Eastern–European University Network and International Cultural and Educational Association. On 19th September, 2008, it joined the Magna Charta. The TNEU is one of the first higher educational establishments in Ukraine to participate in the experimental implementation of the basic principles of the Bologna Declaration into the educational process. The University has adopted the credit and module system of educational process organization; the informational packages of the Faculties and the specialties are placed on the website; the individual and work curricula are systematized and implemented in accordance with the Bologna Process. The University works closely with business representatives to form practical skills of students and to test theoretical developments of the University researchers. The TNEU houses the Business school in cooperation with the Estonian Business School. The University is constantly working on improving educational services and the level of scientific elaboration by means of international cooperation. Overall TNEU has signed seventy-nine agreements with universities from 25 foreign countries, of which 51 are the universities of the fourteen European Union countires, as well as Canada, the USA, China, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Moldova. Most agreements (23) were signed with universities from Poland. Each year, the University develops and implements international projects with programs such as Erasmus +, DAAD, Apollo, Fulbright, Horizon 2020, the International Visegrad Fund, L. Kirkland Program and others. In 2014, the TNEU participated in 12 international and educational programs and funds. Our students and staff take part in transnational mobility and some teachers also work as visiting professors at foreign universities. TNEU is especially interested in curriculum modernization and implementation of new study programs. TNEU will appreciate proposals concerning the development of: – quality assurance system for the university; – distance training programs (including virtual mobility); – university-business cooperation.
