You will be called up at random in small groups and be assigned one of the following themes to talk about: Childhoods (4A) Holidays (4B) Accidents and Natural disasters (5A) In order to prepare for this midterm, try to come up with some possible questions and answers and practice speaking with your classmates. Also, make sure you comment on what other people said (i.e. Me too! Me neither! What a shame! Really? You don’t say! Etc.) I will pick students and themes at random and have you speak in small groups at my desk. These prompts will also be similar to your essay prompts. Both speaking and essay prompts are in English.
