FRIENDSWOOD YOUTH BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION Welcome to the 2015 – 2016 FYBA Winter Basketball Season FYBA is excited to announce the start of our winter basketball league. FYBA is open to boys from 1st thru 8th Grade and girls from 1st thru 6th Grade with skillsets ranging from beginner up to advance. The primary goal of FYBA is to provide an opportunity for kids to play in a competitive environment with a goal of teamwork, fair-­‐play and sportsmanship. There will be tryouts for coaches to view players before the draft All registered participants will be placed on a team. Practices will begin in December, and games will start in January. Each team will have 10 games with a tournament at the end. Each age group will have a double elimination tournament. •
