* Both of these players joined the team after a few events were already played.
This team was formed to allow the girls a
chance to play in the spring and gain some
exposure to college coaches. They played 40
games and finished their year with a 28-12
record, 4 tournament titles, and qualified for 3
different National Tournaments!!!
They
traveled to events Bloomington, Carmel,
Greencastle, Louisville, Nashville, Plainfield
and played several games at the Evansville
Basketball Academy. They also were ask to
play the Kentucky Jr. All Star team (They beat
them as well). Having played against each
other in high school not many of the girls
outside the gym, it was neat to see the
friendships that developed during this year.
Not only did this team learn and grow on the
court together, they gained a whole lot of
respect for each other as well. Although this
year was a learning experience with lots of
highs and a few let down, all the players and
parents would agree that it was well worth it
