Defining the Objective (What We Need to Do by 2017) 1.1 Help decision makers in government and Partner agencies to understand the contribution that skilled coaching can make to their strategies. 1.2 Work with sports councils and other Partners to embed coaching in their plans and invest appropriately. 1.3 Drive the implementation of the UK Coaching Framework vision of Excellent Coaching Every Time for Everyone. Defining the Objective (What We Need to Do by 2017) 2.1 Build and maintain strong and effective partnerships across the sporting landscape. 2.2 Provide tailored support, based on each organisation’s need and stage of development. 2.3 Create effective multi-agency networks that champion excellent coaching practice at national and local levels. 2.4 Work with our Partners to develop an inclusive and diverse workforce. 4 Provide research and share good practice that will benefit coaching. Defining the Objective (What We Need to Do by 2017) 4.1 Advocate and support a common approach to research and coach data collection in the sector. 4.2 Identify, undertake and commission high quality research on coaching. 4.3 Disseminate research in a relevant, accessible and practical format, enabling our Partners to apply the findings. 4.4 Facilitate the sharing of coaching good practice 5 Ensure an effective UK coaching agency through quality leadership, good governance, and a skilled team.
