It’s these volunteers that actively run and manage the club which allows us to operate. Assistance is always needed with teams and just as the players need to work together in the team, so do the parents. We require assistance with coaches, managers, linesmen (junior teams) referees as well as help associated with running the competition and club. All parents are expected to help in some way, so please consider what tasks you would like to nominate for. Coaches and Managers. Each team needs a coach and manager. Coaches will receive assistance from the club thru coaching courses as well as with our coaching director. There are never enough coaches and without assistance teams will be unavailable to be formed. For those who would like further information, please contact the Lisa in the office on 0416 292 275 or email [email protected] . Club Management – Committee. The club relies on the support of parents and other volunteers in various roles within our committee to help with the organization and running of YOUR club. Participating on the committee is not difficult but is vital. We need more people to be actively involved in the running of the club. For those who would like further information, please contact the Lisa in the office on 0416 292 275 or email [email protected] . Match Day. Throughout the season each team will need support and assistance of parents in a variety of ways such as, Match day marshals, first aid, putting up and packing away nets at home games, refereeing and linesmen. Your children can not play without help with these tasks and a team effort with these jobs means it’s not left for one to do or on the coach themselves. Parent Responsibility Parent need to be aware that we are a sports safe club and pride ourselves on looking after players at training and at games. We request that players are picked up and dropped off at their scheduled training and game times. It is the parent responsibility to ensure players are at training on time and are back at training to pick up their child 10 mins prior to the end of the session. If you are unable to be on time, please inform the coach. CLUB PLAYING KITS AND GEAR Players will be given a playing shirt and shorts at the start of the season. These items will be returned to the club at the end of the season. The playing strip is to only be worn on Game days. Socks will be provided from the club and kept by the player. Players will need to provide Boots and Shin pads and a bottle of water to all training and games. Players who do not have the correct gear will not be able to participate in the session or game. All new players will receive a Club polo at the start of the season. Existing players will be given a new polo every 3 years.
