What do we want the children to achieve today?

Organisation: 3-2-2,playing through the thirds. Each team start with a ball each.
Players start being restricted to their third and look to pass the ball forward at
the earliest opportunity. When the ball reaches the striker, the ball is played back
through midfield.
Technical: Type of pass
Physical: movement in different directions
Psychological:disicion making-pass and movement after the pass
Progress to-after the pass you can move into the next third, providing that the 32-2 formation remains. Next you can tackle and score and possible end up with
two balls for your team. Final progression take one ball away but maintain shape.
STEP:
Size and Shape – 40x20 pitch split into thirds.
Task – Playing through the thirds and awareness
Equipment – ball per team to start, reduced to one as session progresses
People – 14 players 3-2-2,Individual tasks for players.
