Members reject city’s ‘last, best and final offer’ We have voted and chosen to reject the city s last best and final offer as written. With strong member turnout, we have chosen to stand together against this offer. We sent a powerful message to the city council that we are united and involved. Members have decided that we will not accept this offer unless the three percent raise is moved to April 6, 2012. I am rejecting the city s last, best and final offer because it is unfair to make us wait so long for our raise. I am calling our city council today and telling them that we will not accept this offer as written. Richard Watkins WWTP Operator II The Delano City Council will be deciding this matter in closed session on Monday. Call them today and tell them how you feel. Need help with your message?
