安藤忠雄 (Tadao Ando)
Tadao Ando Architect & Associates 创办人
安藤忠雄于 1941 年在日本大阪出生,其作品屡获国际殊荣,包括曾于 1995 年荣膺建
筑界最高荣誉的「普里茨克建筑奖」 (Pritzker Architecture Prize),以及于 2002 年荣获
美国建筑师协会颁发金章。 跟云云当代建筑师不同,安藤从未接受过任何正统的建筑
学训练;然而,却凭其博览羣书以及周游列国(包括美国、欧洲及非洲)的游历经验而自
学成功,并于 1969 年创办 Tadao Ando Architect & Associates。
安藤并不认同现今普遍充斥着建筑业界的「消费性主义」。他对条理紊乱的日本都市
环境既有感性及深刻的批判,但其风格及作品仍与都市风貌保持紧密联系。 安藤虽然
从不随波逐流或盲目跟从一时的设计风尚,但其选用的物料以及建筑形态却能将现今
社会物质主义的洪流融入其建筑设计之中。 因此,安藤的作品往往采用混凝土物料配
合玻璃建材,这正与日本以至全球建筑的发展趋势不谋而合。
与传统日本建筑理念相反,安藤的设计往往凝造出一种带有局限性的空间感,并非单
纯追求开扬的感觉。 他巧妙地利用墙壁来建造一个个以人为本的空间,与单调的商业
性建筑形成强烈对比。
安藤亦开创了一套独特、崭新的建筑风格,以半制成的厚重混凝土,以及简约的几何
图案构成既巧妙又丰富的设计效果。 安藤的建筑风格静谧而明朗,为传统的日本建筑
设计带来划时代的启迪。
