DELTA AREA TRANSIT AUTHORITY
D.A.T.A. Board of Directors, of Escanaba, Michigan does hereby authorize the sale of a used DATA bus by accepting public bids
for a Used D.A.T.A. bus.
WHEREAS, the BID is subject to the following conditions of sale:
1. As shall be set forth in the required advertisement.
2. The D.A.T.A Board of Directors reserves the right to reject all bids, where the highest bid is not acceptable
and reserves the right to reject the highest bidder.
3. Everything is sold "AS IS, WHERE IS, HOW IS". D.A.T.A. makes no representation of condition or
performance of any vehicle and provides no implied or expressed warranty or guarantee of operation on
any vehicle. There is no recourse through D.A.T.A. subsequent to sale.
4. The successful bidder must make a payment of 100% of the bid price, which shall be paid in full
at time of bid being awarded.
5. The successful bidder must remove item(s) within 10 days. Items not removed will be disposed of by the
Executive Director.
6. Under no circumstances will a refund or adjustment be made because the bus did not meet the standards
expected, nor will failure to inspect be considered grounds for a claim.
One (1) bus shall be exposed to the public for sale to the highest bidder, by sending sealed bids to D.A.T.A., 2901 N. 27th
Avenue, Escanaba, Michigan, please indicate “BUS BID” on the envelope. Public inspection of vehicle will be at the D.A.T.A.

FINAL DEADLINE for sealed bids – February 4th at 4:00 PM. Sealed bids will be opened at the Board of
Directors Meeting on February 16th, 2016 at 4:00 PM.
