• Accept Your Offer of Admission - To accept your offer of admission you
will need to pay a $100 deposit or have received a waiver (in which case,
simply click the button that reads "Accept My Offer of Admission"). Once
this has been accomplished, you will have the ability to register for STAR
and Boiler Gold Rush.
• Select your STAR Date - STAR is Purdue's Summer Transition, Advising
and Registration program, and all new domestic students (beginner and
transfer) are required to attend the program. International students may
choose to attend STAR, but are not required to do so. International
students who do not attend should visit this website for more information
about the registration process for international students. Colleges, schools
and programs offer various dates for students to attend between June 16
and July 10, 2009. More information on STAR can be found at
www.purdue.edu/STAR.

fee to attend BGR, which covers most meals and all programmatic costs

• Apply for Housing - New students who want to live in University
Residences will need to pay a $100 nonrefundable housing application fee
and sign a housing contract before May 1. For more information, please
visit www.housing.purdue.edu.
• Apply for Specific Purdue Scholarships - The Purdue Scholarship
Application will allow Purdue colleges and schools to identify students who
are eligible for the specific scholarships they award. This application is for
all 2009-2010 incoming freshmen and upperclass students from College of
Agriculture, College of Education, College of Liberal Arts and Krannert
School of Management. To complete this online application, click on the
link to the left or visit www.purdue.edu/dfa/psa.
• Submit a Learning Community Application - Learning Communities
(LCs) are available for beginner students at Purdue University (transfer
students are not eligible to participate in an LC), and involve students
taking two to three courses together, living on the same floor of a
residence hall together, or taking part in both of these activities. The link
on the left will take you to the Learning Communities homepage where
you'll be able to explore LC options available to you and submit your
online application.
