2017-18 Season Information
The AC Sharks Youth Hockey Club is a member of the New Jersey Youth Hockey League,
and anticipates fielding teams at AA, A and/or B levels in each age group. Final level
determinations will be made following the tryout process.
PLAYER EVALUATION & SELECTION
Player Evaluations are scheduled to begin April 3rd and are open to all youth hockey players.
Registration is required. Players will be assigned to a team based on their performance during
the evaluation process. There will be a separate tryout fee, and all players will receive a practice
jersey with a number that is theirs to keep.
Players will be assigned to a team based on their ability level. Our staff will endeavor to place
players at an ability level that will allow them to compete but be challenged to improve their
game. We will strive to not place a player in a situation where he/she is overwhelmed.

The cost of the team apparel is $370
Apparel cost will be paid separately and directly to the Gear Zone at the Flyers Skate Zone at Atlantic
City. Following the team selection process, new players from each team are required to come to the Gear
Zone by May 13th to be fitted properly for all apparel.
Returning Club members will receive an order form for any apparel items needing replacement.
All apparel orders must be received in the Gear Zone by May 13th to ensure on-time delivery prior to the
start of the season. Please make sure to follow up with our staff to place your order.
USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION FEE
*** USA HOCKEY registration fees are not included in the Participation Fees.
All Players, Coaches and Managers are required to complete their 2017-18 USA
Hockey registration online at www.usahockey.com. Everyone will be required to
print their registration verification received via email from USA Hockey (for your
records), and forward it by email to Jared Siganuk at [email protected] before June 1st, 2017.
