SOUTH EAST OVER 35 RULES
REVISED APRIL 2013
1.
All players should be 35 or over. A team may field no more than 1 player under 35 and this must be
declared before start of game.
2.
A team requiring to play more than 1 player under 35 to fulfil fixture should declare this before start
of game and offer to forfeit the points. Opponents may then choose at this time whether or not to play
match for league points.
3.
Any status of player may play.
4.
No limit to amount of subs.
5.
Rolling subs may be used throughout matches.
6.
Home team required to contact their opponents to confirm venue of game and to check colours by
Monday preceding game
7.
Venues and referees will be appointed by Scottish FA South East Regional Office.
8.
The cost of the referee and facility will be shared equally between both teams and paid on game day.
9.
Matches last 45 mins each way
10.
Home team to arrange alternative strip in the event of a clash.
11.
Away team to travel with registered colours.
12.

14.
No team lines required – just complete the spreadsheet at the beginning of season and add any
additional players as and when required throughout the short season and submit to league secretary.

Kick off time 6pm or as mutually agreed.

No lower limit to the amount of players able to start a game.

3 Points for win, 1 for Draw

Discipline
 2nd Caution or denying a goalscoring opportunity - 1 match ban
 Serious Foul Play - 2 match ban
 Violent Conduct (whatever the offence) and offensive, insulting language - 3 match ban
It is up to the team managers to keep a note of player bans and ensure it is enforced. The
game at this stage of life is for fun!
