TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Organiser The Organiser of the

The Organiser of the Contest is Carlsberg Marketing Sdn Bhd
(Co. No. 140534-M)
2. Contest Period
The validity period of this Contest shall be from 1 May 2017 to
26 May 2017.
3. Eligibility
This Contest is open to all non-Muslims aged 18 years or
over who are residents in Malaysia. All Contestants are
subject to the criteria set out below, the Standard Terms and
Conditions, the terms and conditions herein and the relevant
laws of Malaysia.
Employees of the Organiser, its associate agencies, affiliates,
distributors, dealers, sponsors, advertising and promotional
agencies, and members of their immediate families are not
eligible to participate in this Contest.

4. How to participate in the Contest?

To participate in the Contest, the Contestants must
purchase any participating Carlsberg Malaysia's brand
products (“Participating Brand”) worth RM 30.00 and
above in a single receipt from any participating Tesco
Malaysia outlets.
“Participating Brand” refers to Carlsberg Green Label,
Carlsberg Smooth Draught, Somersby Ciders (Apple
and/or Blackberry) and Kronenbourg 1664.
Submission of entry for this Contest is through instant
messaging app ‘WhatsApp’ only.
Contestant is required to complete the following steps: a.
Write your name (as per IC No.) and IC No. on
the front side of the receipt. Must be clear and
readable.
b.
Snap a photo of your proof of purchase receipt
of Participating Brand products (front) (“the
Receipt”) and key in Name (as per your
IC)<SPACE>I/C No.<SPACE>Receipt
No.<SPACE> and submit it to 011 – 3578 7988.
Contestants need to safe keep the original receipt for
verification purposes to redeem the prizes.
The Organiser will send out acknowledgment report to
successful entry only through instant messaging app
‘WhatsApp’ (“Qualified Entries”).
The Organiser shall be entitled to request the original
Identity Card or the originals of other supporting
documents/materials for verification purposes.
The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify and remove
any Contestant from the Contest without prior notification
or disclosure of information should the Contestant be
suspected of tampering with their entries or breach the
Contest terms and conditions.
5. Winners, Prizes, and Terms and Conditions of Prizes

The Prizes for the Contest are divided into two [3] tiers as
follow: • 1st Prize: Five [5] units of 50” LED TV
• 2nd Prize: Fifty [50] units of Carlsberg Beer Tower
• 3rd Prize: One hundred (100) units of Carlsberg Wind

a) 1st Prize x 5 winners.
The serial numbers allocated to Qualified Entries will
be tabulated to derive the total number which will then
be divided by 5.8 to derive the winning serial numbers
for Grand Prize winners. In the event of numbers with
decimal values, the winning serial numbers will be
rounded down to the nearest whole number that
results after the division. For example: If Qualified
Entries serial numbers total up to 4000, 4000 will be
divided by 5.8 which equals 689.65. Contestant
assigned with 689, 1,378, 2,067, 2,756 and 3,445 will
be the 1st Prize Winners.
b) 2nd Prize x 50 winners
The serial numbers allocated to Qualified Entries will be
tabulated to derive the total number which will then be
divided by 50.8 to derive the winning serial numbers for
Grand Prize winners. In the event of numbers with
decimal values, the winning serial numbers will be

In any event where the winner is disqualified for
whatsoever reasons, the entry number before the
disqualified will automatically be chosen as the winner.
The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any
winning prize with a prize of similar value, with or
without notice.
The Prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable and
non-exchangeable for cash credit or any other items.
Prizes not redeemed within the notified period will be
forfeited.
6. Notification of Winners and Redemption of Prizes
i) The Organiser will notify the Winners through instant
messaging app ‘WhatsApp’ only stating the winning
prize and the redemption venue for verification
purposes.
ii) The Winners must redeem the winning prize within
fourteen (14) working days from the date stated in the
message, failing which, the prizes will be forfeited.
iii) The Organiser shall reserves the right to select an
alternative Winner at its sole discretion at any time.
7. Privacy Policy
By participating, Contestants explicitly consents that the
Organiser shall store the necessary personal data of the
Contestants. The Contestant is free to revoke his or her
consent to the storage of data by sending an email to the
Organiser as stated below and by doing so, the
Contestant withdraws his or her participation from this
Contest. The Organiser will use its best endeavours to
keep all personal data stored for the purpose of this
Contest strictly confidential.
8. Additional Terms
i) By participating, Contestants agree to the Terms and
Conditions applied.
ii) The Organiser is also not responsible for any error,
omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay, failure
in operation or transmission, communications line
failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or
alteration of, user or member communications, or any
problems or technical malfunction of any telephone
network or lines, the website, computer online
systems, servers or providers, computer equipment,
system, apparatus, software, failure of e-mail or
receipt of entry on account of technical problems or
traffic
congestion
on
the
internet
and/or
telecommunication services.
iii) The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Terms
and Conditions without prior notice.
iv) The Contest Terms and the Carlsberg’s Standard
Terms and Conditions (collectively “Terms and
Conditions”) shall be binding on all Contestants who
participate in this Contest. The definitions in the
Carlsberg’s Standard Terms and Conditions shall
apply unless otherwise expressly stated in the
Contest Terms. In the event of any discrepancies
between these terms and conditions and any
advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials
relating to or in connection with this Promotion, the
final Terms and Conditions on Carlsberg’s website
shall prevail.
