The Game Starts
There are 9 innings during the
game. Teams take turns at bat
and in the field during each
inning.
The Big Screen
There is a giant screen next to
the scoreboard, called the
Phanavision. It shows
information about the players
and may also show people in
the crowd.
Fun at the Game
During pauses in the game
there will different
attractions on the field and on
the screen.
Vendors
Vendors will be walking up and
down the aisles selling food
and drinks.
Food at the Ballpark
There are a lot of different
kinds of food at the ballpark,
such as soft pretzels, cotton
candy, ice cream, hot dogs,
hamburgers, popcorn, and
candy.
Fans at the Game 1
Fans will cheer and make noise or
jump up and down if their team is
winning or makes a good play.
Fans will have baseball gloves with
them to try to catch any balls that
go into the stands. DO NOT lean
over the balcony to try to get a
ball, wait for it to come to you!
Fans at the Game 2
Fans may get upset if their
team is losing or makes a bad
play. Really bad behavior is not
allowed. These fans may be
asked to leave the game.
If the home team is losing,
fans will turn their baseball
caps inside out and wear them.
This is called the “rally cap.”
