STRICTLY SPEED FOR HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES
WORKOUTS DEDICATED SPECIFICALLY FOR GAINS IN SPEED
AND EXPLOSIVE POWER
Athletes will progress in training that supplements their sport movements to increase
first step quickness and acceleration, greater top end speed, proper lateral cutting and
deceleration, and strength and explosive power. In order to be fast you must be strong.
Our program implements strength for speed exercises creating greater force production
as well as improved recruitment for fast twitch muscle fibers.
What We Do For Speed and Explosiveness:
 Running Form and Jumping Mechanics
 Acceleration & Deceleration Technique
 40 yd. starts
 Hip mobility, strength, and core activation
 First step quickness (all directions)
 Change of direction drills for improved reaction time
 Tred sled/Force Treadmill
 Plyometrics
 Push/Pull sled
 Resistance Training
 Vertimax training (Explosive power development, etc.)
 Developing physical and mental toughness
Recommended 2x a week for 6 weeks for maximum results
Classes offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7-8pm and Saturday mornings 11-12pm
$15 per athlete
Athletes must register through EZFacility at least 1 hour in advance
