before we get too far into that,<br/>let me briefly explain the basics.</p> <p begin="00:01:15.04" end="00:01:18.56">This is a normal training environment.</p> <p begin="00:01:18.56" end="00:01:23.79">Obviously, when a real module is created, the<br/>trainer or subject matter expert would pop</p> <p begin="00:01:23.79" end="00:01:28.31">up rather than me, but it would<br/>usually be just like this.</p> <p begin="00:01:28.31" end="00:01:34.30">Obviously, we can shoot on location when<br/>necessary, but usually we avoid it if possible.</p> <p begin="00:01:34.30" end="00:01:38.78">Not only is it a money and time saver,<br/>usually it's not even necessary.</p> <p begin="00:01:38.78" end="00:01:44.19">In fact, this technology was initially created<br/>in order to try and simulate what you might do</p> <p begin="00:01:44.19" end="00:01:47.69">at a seminar or in a classroom,<br/>hence the interactivity.</p> <p begin="00:01:47.69" end="00:01:51.23">We needed to be able to do whatever<br/>we did live, so it was important</p> <p begin="00:01:51.23" end="00:01:54.69">that we emulate the same<br/>experience and capabilities</p> <p begin="00:01:54.69" end="00:01:57.76">that real world environment provided.</p> <p begin="00:01:57.76" end="00:02:02.00">Keep in mind, we started out as a training<br/>company that traveled around the world</p> <p begin="00:02:02.00" end="00:02:06.17">and basically said the same thing<br/>over and over, day in and day out.</p> <p begin="00:02:06.17" end="00:02:11.23">But on occasion, we may have had a bad<br/>day and forgot to say a few things,</p> <p begin="00:02:11.23" end="00:02:16.20">or we didn't say what we were saying<br/>enough or with the same enthusiasm</p> <p begin="00:02:16.20" end="00:02:18.40">because we were tired and beat from traveling.</p> <p begin="00:02:18.40" end="00:02:23.62">So we invented Light Speed VT to<br/>make sure that nothing was forgotten,</p> <p begin="00:02:23.62" end="00:02:28.76">nobody heard it differently, and<br/>nobody was left behind due to us having</p> <p begin="00:02:28.76" end="00:02:34.22">to leave before they had a chance to actually<br/>learn and absorb what we were there to teach.</p> <p begin="00:02:34.22" end="00:02:38.26">And of course, we could now test<br/>each and every person to make sure</p> <p begin="00:02:38.26" end="00:02:43.71">that they individually learn the information,<br/>which we couldn't do in a live environment.</p> <p begin="00:02:43.71" end="00:02:46.33">There was too many people and too little time.</p> <p begin="00:02:46.33" end="00:02:50.65">So we created this technology<br/>to emulate what we did live.</p> <p begin="00:02:50.65" end="00:02:54.56">For example, in a classroom,<br/>you might hand out a workbook.</p> <p begin="00:02:54.56" end="00:02:58.50">Here, I can prompt you to print one out.</p> <p begin="00:02:58.50" end="00:03:03.39">Not only does it save you money on<br/>printing and sending a thousand copies out,</p> <p begin="00:03:03.39" end="00:03:08.26">users can now access the most<br/>updated version instantly.</p> <p begin="00:03:08.26" end="00:03:13.33">Another thing you might see in a classroom or<br/>in a seminar environment is a PowerPoint deck</p> <p begin="00:03:13.33" end="00:03:18.49">or an overhead project that is used to<br/>support what the trainer is explaining.</p> <p begin="00:03:18.49" end="00:03:22.19">Here, you can provide the<br/>same thing in this area,</p> <p begin="00:03:22.19" end="00:03:24.90">but much better than in a live environment.</p> <p begin="00:03:24.90" end="00:03:33.67">Here, I can zoom in, highlight areas of<br/>interest, allow you to print the material out,</p> <p begin="00:03:33.67" end="00:03:41.93">or simply access it in the file vault later.</p> <p begin="00:03:41.93" end="00:03:44.65">I can also use video within video.</p> <p begin="00:03:44.65" end="00:03:53.14">As you can see, I can freeze it, use<br/>slow motion, and even go frame-by-frame.</p> <p begin="00:03:53.14" end="00:03:59.54">So basically, anything you can do in a live<br/>environment, except maybe shake their hand,</p> <p begin="00:03:59.54" end="00:04:03.62">you can do in this environment,<br/>just better and more thoroughly.</p> <p begin="00:04:03.62" end="00:04:07.78">Normally, everything we shoot is on<br/>green screen, so if we need to put you</p> <p begin="00:04:07.78" end="00:04:14.86">in a specific environment, like a garage,<br/>a laboratory, or on the beach, we can.</p> <p begin="00:04:14.86" end="00:04:17.58">Take an employee handbook, for example.</p> <p begin="00:04:17.58" end="00:04:22.41">Rather than just let you read a page or two<br/>with is a sketch on how to escape the building,</p> <p begin="00:04:22.41" end="00:04:27.25">with this, we can actually show<br/>you the escape route and make sure</p> <p begin="00:04:27.25" end="00:04:31.61">that you actually know it<br/>rather than just hope you do.</p> <p begin="00:04:31.61" end="00:04:34.63">So as you can imagine, there<br/>are a lot of advantages</p> <p begin="00:04:34.63" end="00:04:38.35">to delivering virtual training<br/>and information in this way.</p> <p begin="00:04:38.35" end="00:04:44.42">But not only can you deliver training and<br/>communication more efficiently, you can test,</p> <p begin="00:04:44.42" end="00:04:47.16">track, and measure it in real time.</p> <p begin="00:04:47.16" end="00:04:50.46">Accountability is the backbone to this system.</p> <p begin="00:04:50.46" end="00:04:53.08">Everything is being tracked<br/>and recorded in real time</p> <p begin="00:04:53.08" end="00:04:56.34">so you can see who's learning<br/>and growing, and who is
