This is the second joint event run by AUDE and HESPA focussing on space planning and
utilisation for the HE sector.
73 senior HE delegates from planning and estates attended the inaugural event in 2016
2017 is the first year we are offering sponsorship and exhibitions packages

Conference Aims

Facilitate the opportunity for directors of estates and strategic planners from the
same institutions to meet outside of their own institutions, connect and share
knowledge.
Recognise that space planning and utilisation is a huge and important area in HE
sector and models of application are varied
Explore ways of producing a tangible output for the sector
Bringing together knowledge of the sector, suppliers, specialist and researchers
from outside the sector to produce a unified picture.
Provide networking opportunities between planners, estates and industry
supporters/ suppliers.
Introduce new products and services to the sector
Provide an information gathering opportunity.

Who are we?
HESPA
• HESPA is the representative body for strategic planners working in higher education
across the UK
• HESPA has grown substantially since its conception and is now a hugely influential
organisation with excellent links to HE agencies and other sector bodies.
• HESPA have 137 institutional members and 836 individual members
AUDE
• AUDE is the representative body for estates directors in higher education across the UK
• AUDE's members are the most senior staff responsible for managing, planning,
constructing and maintaining all aspects of estates, facilities and accommodation for
Higher Education Institutions.
• AUDE have 166 institutional members and 493 individual members

The AUDE/HESPA conference will be a key date in the diary with 100 delegate places

The programme runs from 10am – 4.15pm and includes
