The horse is being sold with a
trial period. If the buyer chooses to return the horse for any reason, transportation
and care of the animal is the Buyer’s responsibility and will not be refunded. The horse must be returned in no worse condition
than the Buyer received him/her in. Horse must be returned by
or no refund will be given. The Buyer will be
refunded the full sale price less any deposit previously made and less 10% of the total purchase price. If the horse is returned in
worse condition than he/she left in, the Buyer will be refunded the correct amount less any costs incurred by the Seller to
return the horse to previous condition. The horse may always be returned at any time with no refund pending availability of
stall space of the Seller. All paperwork and equipment must be returned with the horse.
Additional notes/comments regarding above horse:
The Buyer understands that horses, horseback riding, and equestrian activities carry inherent risks of injury, damage, or death, and
that the purchase of the horse herein includes these risks. The Buyer knowingly assumes these risks, known and unknown, of all
activities on and around the horse from this time forth. The Buyer accepts this horse by signing this contract and the risk of loss
passes immediately. The Buyer is responsible for all board, veterinary, and transportation expenses after the date and time indicated
on this form. The Buyer promises to provide adequate grain/hay, water, shelter, deworming, and vet/farrier care for the horse. In the
event that the Buyer refuses to provide this basic care, the Seller reserves the right to repossess the horse immediately and
permanently and the Buyer will receive no refund. If the Buyer chooses at any time to rehome/sell the horse and relinquish
the responsibilities of ownership, the Seller MUST be notified and given the right of first refusal.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY THIS HORSE EVER BE SOLD AT PUBLIC AUCTION! NO EXCUSES! NO EXCEPTIONS!
