ADMINISTRATION
The ILGU Tournament Office will be located in the Board room at Roganstown Golf Club. The room will
be signposted.
FORMAT
The Stroke Play Championship shall be played over 54 holes – 18 holes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Note: There will be a cut to 50 players (+ ties) on Sunday.
The Draw for Round 1 and 2 will be made one week prior to the Championship, see www.ilgu.ie under
Tournaments. The Draw for the third round will be made based on the 36 hole scoring with the leaders
playing at the end of the field.
Please re-confirm your tee time at REGISTRATION at Roganstown on Thursday 6th April.
TIES
In the event of a tie for the Championship there shall be a hole-by-hole sudden death play-off immediately
after the final card has been returned. Play-off holes will be 9, 10 & 11 as often as necessary.

SCORECARD COLLECTION AND RETURN AREA
Scorecards to be collected from the starter on the 1st tee at least 10 minutes before starting time. On
completion of play, check and return your score card at the ILGU Recorders Desk (ILGU Tournament
Office) located in the Board Room in the clubhouse.
TEAM EVENT
A Country may nominate a team/s of 2 or 3 players to represent their Country. The two lowest scores
returned in each round shall count. See team entry form below.
RESULTS
Results after each round will be circulated in the Clubhouse, posted on the notice board and updated on
the ILGU website www.golfnet.ie . Daily results will be sent to national, provincial and local newspapers
and to National and Local radio stations.

ILGU tee markers and pin flags will be in position from Official Practice
Day.
Leader boards will be used for the final round on Sunday for the last 3
groups (subject to weather conditions).

ILGU Local Rules and Conditions of Competition will be in use and any

PRESENTATION
Sunday 9th April as soon as practicable after the completion of play. Players are to notify the ILGU
Tournament Office in advance if they are not available to attend the Presentation so that an apology may be
made on their behalf.
DOPING CONTROL
Competitors are notified that they may be tested for the use of drugs. Refer to Irish Sports Council
website www.sportireland.ie for information on anti-doping.
