Request To “Block” A Team or Coach

This is MCBBA’s rule 3.5 governing “blocks”:
“A player entering the draw may designate two teams (or coaches) to which
the player does not wish to be assigned. The player must submit a written
explanation for this request before the close of registration. A minimum of
three members of the executive board, appointed by the President, will review
the request and notify the player if it will be honored prior to the league draw.”
Note: A player returning to a league (“moving up” from 1st to 2nd grade in the Rookie League, 3rd to 4th
grade in the Junior League, 5th to 6th grade in the Major League, or 7th to 8th grade in the Senior League),
and desiring to be placed back into the player draw, need not explain that decision or complete this form.
These leagues are typically formed for a two-year player-team relationship. The prior year’s team is
“blocked” without the need for an explanation. That team counts as one of the two allowed.
This form should be submitted by the end of registration.
