● COMPUTERS FOR EDUCATION/READING FOR EDUCATION
FUNDRAISER KICKED-OFF THIS WEEK! ~ On Thursday,

that quick ~ nothing more you need to do. Have you noticed the Minion in the office window?? He could be part of
your household just for helping your child(ren) fill out their booklets with address of family & closed friends. THANK
YOU for your participation!
● Our Mission Offerings for “Truth in Love”: Students at St. Paul’s have collected mission offerings
totaling $152.73 during the first 2 weeks of chapel services. What is ‘Truth in Love’ ministry? Truth in Love ministry
is focused on one goal: to bring as many Mormons to heaven as possible. We do that by proclaiming God’s wrath

costumes and have a good time! Friday, October 28th at 6:00 is when the
event starts. If your family would like to decorate their trunks and hand out candy
that you provide, there are sign ups in school and church. The families that plan on decorating their cars can arrive

food labels & containers, save them and turn them into the school office in the container provided! (Check out our
‘new’ containers!) We then count and redeem them with the respective companies for either a cash reward or
‘points’ to spend on items that directly benefit our school ~ in the past we’ve been able to pick out equipment for
gym classes or office/classroom needs. Thank you for your continuing support ~ be sure to ask grandparents and
other family members to save these ‘coupons’ for you as well! Every little bit adds up over time!
● BAND & COLOR GUARD OPPORTUNITIES FROM LAKESIDE! Every year at this time, Lakeside
Lutheran High School hosts the Cadet and Beginner Band members from our Lutheran Elementary Schools for four
consecutive Saturdays of rehearsals. The dates for these are listed below.
This year, we would like to add another opportunity for participation. The color guard of the Warrior
Band would like to invite any girls in grades 4-8 who are not in band to join them on the Saturdays listed below.
They will be on hand to instruct you on how to twirl a flag and will also put together a drill that you can perform at
the Fall Concert on Sunday, November 6 at Lakeside. There is no charge for this.
Our hope is that you will enjoy your experience so much that you will like to continue this on into
high school and march with the Lakeside Lutheran High School Warrior Band as they travel to various communities
in our area as well as a trip at the end of the local season.
If you are interested in joining us for this, please pick up and fill out the registration form from the
hallway here at St. Paul’s. Forms need to be mailed back to Lakeside by Wednesday, October 5. If you have any
questions, please contact Mr. Pufahl at LLHS via email [email protected] or phone 920-648-2321 x 1212 (office),

IMPORTANT NOTES FROM OUR
CLASSROOMS!
From Kindergarten ~ Mrs. Georgson: Monday is our field trip to Glacier Rock Farm.
Please make sure your child has a car seat at school for our trip!
From Grade 1/2~ Mrs. Kionka: What are the three things you need to make a cloud? Why does it rain (or snow or
hail)? 1st and 2nd graders have been experimenting with weather. We are learning that scientists always ask questions and
that they do experiments to check their predictions. We’ve created clouds and made a rainbow.
Stop by our hallway and meet the members of 1st and 2nd grade! They’ve introduced themselves to you.
