Management Committee Report An excellent crowd of around 120 for the “Guernsey Presentation Night” and launch of the season on Friday 9TH April 2010, with the highlight the presenation of Rex Gellards Guernsey to a current day player by Hannah Gellard and …………..gellard. Rex gellard who sadly passed away recently was on the South managememnt committee for several years ant he clubs president in 1961 and 1962 together with being a player for the club between 1944 to 1952 and being an integral part of the club over that period. The club offers its condolenses to …………………… gellard and her family. The next 100 Club Bullseye Draw is the Sunday 18th July . Members who get to the club for the $500 draw are entitles to $1 schooners (11-2PM) and a light snack. Get up there for a great day. Draw 12 noon , $50 Prize if in attendance. Peter fox who played in A Grade grand finals and B Gade premierships on the wing recently turned 50 in barrosa and it was great to see Ian Ruxton attend, Ian was a trainer over 2 a Grade prenierships along side Bruce Hennessy and Owen Cook, other club legends. Wondreed where all our players are going, just go and watch a match at Colone light gardens because there are at least 6 ex south players running out their in the Amateur league including Jack Magarey, Greg Shirley, Nathan kerin, Jordam Madigan, Craig white and Pendwe Masapenda who all played either Colts or seniors for the club. The current coach of the team says he now loves Port augusta and may even get the club to visit on their ned of year trip. The team has won conmfortaaly most weeks.
