The Ringwood Cricket Club is one of the younger clubs playing Premier
Cricket, but has a proud history dating back to 1909. The Club has stuck to
its moral values of community involvement and striving for excellence.
Currently, the club has four men’s XIs in the Victorian Premier Cricket
competition, a 5th men’s XI in the ECA, two women’s XIs (one at Premier
level and one at VWCA level) as well as having a Junior section.
Our most recent history has been prosperous winning back-to-back 1st XI
Victorian Premier Cricket titles in 07/08 & 08/09 as well as back-to-back
Club Championships in 08/09 & 09/10. As well as this success the club has
taken large steps forward by introducing two womens teams, joining two
seasons ago. This has created a new club environment not seen in
Premier Cricket before.
Everyone at the club is striving for 2013/2014 to be another impressive
year for the Ringwood Rams.
The player sponsorship initiative has been implemented by the Ringwood Cricket
Club to grow community awareness as well as promoting the individual
player. Ringwood strongly believes in the power of what a community can
bring a local club and being the only Premier club in the outer eastern
suburbs we feel it is our responsibility to remind every sports fan that any
club, anywhere starts with its supporters.

So whether you are a business or an individual, you can show your
community awareness as well as club pride by contributing to the
individual sponsorship of one of Ringwood Cricket Club’s Players.
All of the men and women at our club are available for sponsorship, all
you have to do is fill out the ‘Pledge’ attached to this booklet and send it
back to the club either by email, mail or through the player that may have
approached you.
