This decision is solely up to the coaching staff. Do your best to earn your spot. Responsibilities Each day, the entire team is to be held responsible for cleaning their trash, the balls, and other items from the field. Failure to do so could result in extra conditioning, playing time decreased, or other punishment. Our equipment is too precious and costly to replace every week for us to damage, or lose. Varsity only athletes will attend and help with 1 JV home game. JV Only players will attend and help with 3 Varsity home games. Being members of the community, you are responsible for being a good citizen. During this season, we (as a team) will do at least 1 volunteer activity together. See the Calendar. Information We have a team website. Woodlandwomenssoccer.com has all of the information you need, game days, practice schedule, practice uniform schedules, game day directions, fundraising information, etc. Check the website prior to asking unnecessary questions. It is built just for you. 4 Team/Player Rules Woodland Lady Cats Soccer While being a part of the team, the expectation is that every player holds themselves and each other to the highest standards. Failure to adhere to these rules WILL result in discipline or expulsion from the team. With this in mind, these rules apply: The 10 rules of Woodland Girl’s Soccer. 1. Follow Local and State laws and School rules AT ALL TIMES. 2. Be mindful of your presence on any Social Media platform. 3. Bring ALL of your Equipment daily, including shin guards and running shoes. 4. Treat each other with respect. 5. Be at all events, practice, games, team outings. 6. Give 100% in school and practice. 7. Work as a team! 8. Have a GREAT Attitude. Attitude reflects leadership 9. Leadership is by example only and is not measured in Win/Losses, but in efficiency 10. Missing a practice will result in missing 1 half per practice missed. Frequent absences could result in increased punishment at the coach’s discretion. Missing a game is UNACCEPTABLE. 1 game missed=1 game suspension. Missing 2 games=removal from all team activities for the remainder of the season. Failure to follow the Attendance Policy in multiple seasons leads to permanent suspension. School Discipline Policy ISS/OSS. o Serving ISS/OSS also makes you ineligible for the extracurricular activities of the day served. By missing that activity, see the Attendance Policy above. Additionally, you will run 1 monster mile for each day of ISS, and 1 week of monster miles for each day of OSS outside of practice time. Violation of team rules 1. Extra conditioning 2. Missed practice (see attendance Policy) in addition to previous punishments 3. Missed game (see attendance Policy) in addition to previous punishments 4.
