If not, open “Task Manager”> “Services” > “Kservice” > Stop then Start the client; retry viewing the link in a new Internet Explorer or Google Chrome window. If you can not find KService the Services list, contact your IT support to install Kontiki or access this link for a manual install: http://shore.kontiki.com/democenter/schneider-electric/ The latest Flash version must be installed: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html, restart your computer after installation or upgrade. How to connect depending on your location: @Schneider Electric office • Follow the event as a group, in a meeting room or open space. • Connect to network via the cable, not WiFi access; please disconnect/desactivate WiFi altogether when on wired. @Outside a Schneider Electric office • Do not use VPN to access the live stream as it will not be allowed for Kontiki viewing and you will get an error message: When accessing the stream without VPN, you will need to manually log in to the event page with your Windows / AD credentials. Try to use a LAN cable instead of WiFi to connect to internet from home/remote location, your connection will be more stable than over WiFi and the viewing quality will be better. If you are still having issues you can: First, Contact your IT support through chat or phone; they might be able to solve it on the spot or open a Remedy ticket for you. Or, go to the Spice Social Kontiki Support subject: https://spice.schneider-electric.com/tibbr/#!/subjects/435069 In your post include: • • • • Where you are watching from (Country, city, office or home) How you are connected (wired or wireless) Your username (complete with domain name – i.e. emea\SESAXXXXX) Computer name, IP You will now be able to access Spice Social remotely without VPN. *A pop up may or may not appear to notify you of log sending. In case of Kontiki black-out What to do? We are doing everything necessary to deliver a smooth experience with Kontiki. However, it is always wise to be prepared in front of the audience in case of issues like streaming buffering – image frozen – broadcast interruption. Make sure someone from IPO is physically present before and during the event just in case, in order to be able to react fast. In case of issues, first split the roles: - IPO member [or s.o. else nominated upstream for that role] is in charge of technical issues and follows instructions given in previous slides - Hosts of the events remain upfront, to maintain the attention of the audience, avoiding that people go back to their office. Suggestions to fill in the gap: • announce that dedicated teams are working on fixing the issue • react to any of the messages or videos already displayed and ask for people feedback • tell a story related to any of the topics already presented • do a well-being break • if the issue cannot be solved, you can move directly to the session ‘What Schneider Is On will means for us locally’ and encourage the audience to watch the broadcast remotely.
