International Ataturk Alatoo University (IAAU) is a leading non-profit
Description of HEI
institution higher education in Kyrgyzstan. Founded in 1996, IAAU
consists of 4 faculties, 19 departments, a vocational college, Institute
of Social and Natural sciences and Silk Road R&D institute. Faculties:
Economics and Administrative Sciences, New Technologies, Social
Sciences and Medicine. Recently IAAU opened department of Distance
Education with two BA and MA degrees. It has about 2100 students
from 16 different countries around the world and about 250 highqualified staff from USA, EU, Turkey, India, China and Russian. The
language of instruction for majors is English, also there are additional
Russian, Kyrgyz and Turkish language courses, and additionally IAAU
offers selective French, German or Japanese. It is currently based on a
10.500 square meters campus. The university is designed to answer all
the needs of students, with spacious classrooms, modern computer
and language laboratories, rich library; dance and concert halls;
football, volleyball and basketball fields and tennis court, and other
social facilities. IAAU is not home of learning but also the center of
vivid social life.

I am writing on behalf of International Ataturk Alatoo University from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
We are interested of being member of your consortium, in terms of Erasmus Plus' Key Action
1, staff and student mobility programs. We are eager to establish a good cooperation with
your universities. Our university is a new partner in Erasmus+ project and only last year we
signed agreements with 3 universities from Poland and Italy. Our primary aims are to build
strong and reliable relationships between our university and Program country HEIs in terms
of enhancing education level and skills in our university.

We want to be partner, member of your consortium, through strong and reliable
relationships and cooperation with your HEIs, in order to transfer European
experiences in the teaching processes (methods), education standards and
experiences in research spheres. Also, establishing staff mobility to train and teach
staff and students with high-standardized skills in educational standpoint.
