I prefer to continue with my current
service
It doesn’t suit my family
circumstances
1
I am unable to offer extended
services/overnight care in my home
I don’t think families need these
services
4
I have a waiting list for services I
currently provide
I am unable to provide care in
parents homes
Further comments
1.
But I am available if the need arose to offer these services, I just can't
commit to do so on a regular basis, as I have a young family myself.
2.
I already offer extended hours.
3.
The parents that were looking for care needed specialist medical care
and one to one care - not a childminder.
4.
I already offer a very flexible service, and the only thing unavailable is
babysitting as, being a single parent, it is not practical.

Further comments
1. Please make any further comments about the events or about the
development of your services in general.
1.
I felt that there wasn't any further advice after the event and even though
I was willing to extend my hours I do not want to advertise that I worked
late every night, but no advice on how to show this service or if it would
be flagged up if a parent phoned for the particular service from a
childminder.
2.
More notice of events would be useful!
Would be good if it was easier to advertise/let parents know about
childminders services locally.
3.
Would be interested in further training.
