View and Print Side Sewer Inspection Cards
The City of Tacoma has permit records for some, but not all, of the side sewer inspections in the City of
Tacoma. The following steps will guide you through viewing and printing side sewer inspection cards, if any
exist for a property. If you have difficulties following the steps below or are unable to find inspection cards,
contact Environmental Services at (253) 591-5588 for further help.
Step 1 – Visit www.govME.org.
Step 2 – Scroll Down to Permit Information and click on Permit / Site History.
Step 3 – Enter House Number and Street Name. Click on Submit Query. Click on the link under Record
Found. If the query results in “0 Record(s) Found”, try to use a partial street name or verify that the address
you are searching is valid.
Step 4 – Inspection Cards (if there are any) will appear as 8-digit alpha-numeric links next to “Inspection
Card(s)”. Click on each link individually to view all permits.
Step 5 – Most building inspection records are two pages. Click on the Page button to toggle between Page 1
and Page 2. Most side sewer or septic system drawings are located on Page 2. To print the page, click on the
Print button.
