Aim of game: middle person trying to escape through a gate
without a guard being in between the gate.
Area size key to ensure practise focuses on ball manipulation.
Can vary gate sizes/number of guards to suit. Slow guards down
by having them keep a ball at their feet whilst guarding.
Once escaped score a point/new escapee...
Questioning
- What can you do to help you escape? (Tactical Awareness)
- How do you throw the guards 'off balance'? (Skill and movement)

Setup:
Appropriate size/shape area for players
Some players start with a ball, some without. Aim is to be in
possession of a ball at the end of pre-determined time.
If ball goes out of play it is brought back in and starts with player
who didn't touch it last.
Can bring in passes in to restart to work on receiving and turning
skills.
Questioning
What do you do when a defender comes to take the ball off you?
(tactical awareness).
Where can you go if a defender comes? (Space?).
How do you protect the ball? (Skill & Movement).
Competition option - numerous areas (varying in difficulty) to move
up or down (ladder style).
