hope, but few succeed. Those who get a
chance to go have to work even harder to win.
Some Olympic athletes never even get there.

Like many hopefuls, you, too, have been
preparing for an endurance event for years,
without even realizing that Olympic status for
artists as athletes was possible. Setting new
endurance records, the long hours of toiling over the
delicacies of silks, and the stickiness of wool, the
color of the dye,the warping of the loom, and
stitching it all together are about to pay off.

CNCH is hosting their first ever Olympic Games where
every participant is a natural artist who dares to defy
convention by insisting on making things themselves.
It is a rare feat of talent and skill to create textiles
when only the idea, some time-honored tools, and
the tradition of the craft itself exists.
