NOTES :
1. Pennant is run on Saturdays & Sundays ( am & pm )
2. Home matches at RPTC - Away matches are anywhere in Melbourne ( Includes Geelong )
3. Junior player's parents must help with driving.
4. Pennant starts April and Finishes around August.
5. Competition players must be financial members of Royal Park Tennis Club.
6. In Open Grades, each player plays 1 singles - best of 3 sets and every second week
2 doubles rubbers - best of 3 sets.
7. Veterans pennant 35 and over, is played only Saturdays PM ; and is DOUBLES only.
Each player plays 2 rubbers - best of 3 sets.
8. Ladies Doubles - usually played Saturday mornings.
9. Each player is to supply and stay for afternoon tea when playing at home.
10. If you are a registered player for another club a Clearance must be obtained
from that Club and Tennis Victoria, and accompany this form with $44.00 Transfer Form
11. Players must be able to play on a regular basis ; this is an elite competition
and reliability is of the utmost Importance.
12. Competition fee $65 should accompany this entry form.
13. Tennis Victoria Registration is COMPULSORY to play Pennant
14. Inclusion in competition will be at the discretion of the Match & Team Co-ordinator
if your entry form or payment is received after 14th December.
15. Any non-paid player still remaining after round 3 of competition may not be
selected for the remaining matches without a satisfactory explanation

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING
POLICY FOR PLAYERS WHO WITHDRAW FROM ANY COMPETITION
PRIOR TO SEASON COMMENCING
If a player withdraws from any competition with Royal Park Tennis Club after
team selection and prior to the season commencing without good reason,
( See Note 1) then the following will apply ;
1. The player will receive a letter from the Match and Team Committee requesting a
written explanation for the withdrawal.
2. If the player either fails to respond OR the explanation is deemed unsatisfactory
by the Match and Team Committee, the player will be informed that they will not
be selected in any further teams until such time that the committee is assured
that the withdrawal will not re-occur.
3. If the player does respond in a manner deemed satisfactory by the
Match and Team Committee, the player will receive a warning that if it occurs
again they will risk non-selection in future teams.
4. There will be NO refund of fees. ( See Note 2 )
Note :
1. A good reason includes ; illness to self and family, relocation,
injury, work commitments etc.
2. If player provides a reason that is deemed satisfactory then
there will be a full refund of fees.
