• All levels will have 1 practice and 8 games.
• Games will be played in Anoka, Buffalo, Elk River, Monticello and Rogers.
• Schedule is not finalized until after registration has closed.
• Registration closes July 31.
Mighty Mite - $55
No team registrations accepted
Teams will be formed by Breakaway coaches.

Ages 6-7 typically for players with
one-two years hockey experience.
•
4 on 4 Cross Ice/13 players
•
No refs.
Super Mite - $110
No team registrations accepted
Teams will be formed by Breakaway coaches.
•
Ages 7-8. Typically for players moving
into last year of mites and at least 2-3
years of hockey experience.
•
5 on 5 Full Ice/16 players
Squirt - $110
•
Ages 8-10. No checking/slapshot level
•
5 on 5 Full Ice/16 players
•
Team Registration Recommended
• Schedules will be sent out August 12 - with games starting no sooner than August 15
(some levels start later).
• Runs mid - August through early October.
• Typically no more than 3 games per week. Weekday games after 5:00 p.m. weekend games after
9:00 a.m.
• Jersey will be provided.
• All communication will be done by email (check junk mail folder).
• USA Hockey and MAHA rules apply - Each team provides an adult to operate the score clock or
penalty gates.
Want to coach a team?
You must have a background check through the City of Elk River. If you had
one for the Spring 2016 Breakaway League you don’t need another for fall.
