LESSON 4: GAME
1. Objectives
 Knowledge: Students will be able to
+ review vocabulary about pets: cat, dog, bird, tortoise, rabbit, goldfish
+ drill sentence pattern: - How many cats have you got?
I have got two cats.
 Skills: Students will be able to:
+ work in groups to play game
+ work in pair to practice structure
2. Procedure
Teacher’s activities
 Introduces Animal Guessing Game
 Divides the class into 2 teams: TIGER TEAM and
DRAGON TEAM.
 Instruct the rule of the game:
- There are 6 pictures.
Purpose
- In turn, members of each team will select a picture, then
using actions to describe that animal for their team
members to guess that animal. Note: do not use words.
- Then member of team have to go to the board to write
the answer.
- If this team does not answer, the right answer will be
switched to the other team.
- Each picture is expressed in 30 seconds. Each correct
answer 10 points. Finishing the game, team with higher
score is the winner.
 After playing game, teachers review sentence
pattern (asking and answering about quantities of
pets)
How many cats have you got? - I have got two cats.
- Students work in pairs to ask and answer about quantities
of pets in 6 pictures.
- T calls some pairs go to the board and practice.
To review vocabulary
about pets in last
periods.
