HEALTHCARE PROVIDER COURSES
Course Outline:
The BLS Healthcare Provider Course
focuses on four basic skills:

Adult/Child CPR

Infant CPR

Mouth-to-Mask Ventilation

Use of an AED
The BLS Healthcare Provider
Course is for the healthcare provider
who has never been trained in CPR skills,
or who infrequently, performs skills of
CPR.
The BLS Renewal Course offers a
blended approach with computer-based
learning & skills validation. The
participant can progress at their own pace
through the clinical scenarios & written
exam via computer followed by a skill
validation by an instructor.

Advance registration is required. The
registration deadline is 2 weeks prior to the
scheduled course.

the class. If you have not received your

MRMC Employees enroll via the PDA.
Employees must also get department approval
and study the book on your unit.
Non—MRMC Participants:
$60 for the Provider Course
$40 for the Renewal Course
Add $2 for shipping course materials unless
you want to come pick them up at MRMC.
$28 for HeartCode Skills Validation ONLY
(Must bring Certificate to Instructor)

Course Cancelation/Refund:
If you need to cancel, please contact Nursing
Professional Development.
The requirements for a full refund are:
 Notice of cancelation at least 7 days prior to
the class.
 Course materials are returned prior to the
course (certified mail or in person)
 Course materials must be in Excellent
condition.
