Contact the U.S. customer service line and let them know that your card has been lost or stolen and you would like to cancel it immediately. Depending on the company, they can usually mail a replacement card within two weeks. In the meantime, ask a family member or friend to wire you money or ask the DIS Finance office (Vestergade 5.37) for a temporary loan. Send an e-mail to [email protected] with the following information: Previous master card number, new master card number, name, Danish mobile number (if any), Danish address, number of zones, specific zone numbers. In subject line you should write “DIS Erstatningskort”. DSB Customer Service will send an e-mail to you (or SMS if Danish phone number is provided by you) as soon as possible with booking number. If you do not receive the e-mail or SMS within 24 hours then please contact Rachel Miller at DIS Housing and Student Affairs. Go to DSB ticket office at Copenhagen Central Train Station to get your replacement insert (by informing them of your booking number). Alternatively you can print out your insert at one of the DSB ticket machines placed at most train stations. In case you get your original transportation pass return, then please give it to Rachel Miller at DIS Housing and Student Affairs, who will return it to DSB. Danish CPR (Yellow) Card Go to your local kommune (where you registered for your CPR card) and ask them to make you a new card for a 170 DKK fee. They will not be able to give you a new card on the spot, but you should receive it in the mail within a few weeks. U.S. Driver’s License You will most likely not be able to get a replacement license while you are in Denmark, but this process varies from state to state. If your ID was stolen, locate the replacement fee for licenses in your specific state online and send a screenshot of this information or a link, along with your insurance claim, to [email protected]. U.S. Passport Make an appointment with the Embassy. To do so, visit denmark.usembassy.gov/service/book-an-appointment.html. Processing takes about 10 days, so if you are traveling outside of Denmark soon after your passport is lost or stolen, you will need to obtain an emergency passport. This can be issued on the same day as your appointment.
