Active Schools is a sportscotland led programme designed to encourage children and young
people to get active and stay active.
We aim to motivate and inspire young people to take part in sport by offering extra-curricular
sport clubs before during and after school
Volunteers
As part of the Active Schools programme we are always looking to train volunteers to help with
some of the Active Schools programmes. If you would like to become involved please contact
me on the number overleaf. This will mean more clubs in schools for your children.
We offer a varied training programme to enable volunteers to work within our schools.

each schools position at the end of the
league matches.

All activities are organised with Grangemouth High School PE Dept, Young Ambassadors,
Leaders and Sports Leaders. Please come to the school for the start times stated.

*Please do not contact Bowhouse PS office regarding these classes as they are booked directly
through Active Schools. Pupils cannot turn up to the class without booking or if your child is
unable to attend the class for any reason please contact the office to let us know as this could
lead to a child protection issue.
Classes will not take place during school holidays and have to be rebooked each term.
