Best Performance Sports Training: Hockey School Day Camp – Taylor, BC - - Camp Description Group #1 and #2 – The day long camp runs from 8:30am to 4pm each day. Athletes will receive 2 hours of ice each day focusing on skating skills and puck skills. The last day of the camp will be a mini small area games tournament. All athletes will spend the off ice time playing various games and doing various drills to help develop motor coordination and effective movement patterns. The goal of these sessions is to develop all around athleticism. There are only spots for 20 skaters and 4 goalies in each group. Camp Description Group #3 – This evening camp is designed to help prepare bantam, midget and junior players for upcoming camps and seasons. Each Ice time will include an hour-long skill and tactical session, followed by a 1hour small area games session. There are 24 spot available in this camp. Daily Schedule: August 24th to 28th All Sessions: Taylor District Ice Centre Group #1 2008, 2007, 2006 Birth Group #2 – 2005, 2004, 2003 Birth Year Year 8:30am – 9:00 – Check in/Gear On 8:30am to 9:45 –Check in/Off Ice Games 9:00 to 10 – Ice #1 10:15 to 11:15 – Ice #1 10:15 to 10:30 – Snack 11:30 to 11:45 – Snack 10:30 to 11:45 – Games and activities 11:45 to 1 – Dry land Training 11:45 to 12:15 – Lunch 1 to 1:30 – Lunch 12:15 to 12:45 – Gear On 1:30 to 2 – Gear On 12:45 to 1:45 – Ice #2 2 to 3 – Ice #2 2 to 2:15 - Snack 3:15 – 3:45 Snack/Games/Activities 2:15 to 3:45pm –Dry land Training 3:45-4pm - Pick Up 3:45 -4pm - Pick Up Group # 3: August 23rd to August 26th – Bantam/Midget/Junior aged players 6:45 pm to 7:45pm – on ice skills and tactics 8pm to 9pm – small area games and conditioning How Much? Players and Goalies Group #1 or Group # 2 – $325 for all 5 days or $85 a day Group # 3 $140 for all 4 sessions or $40 per session How Do I Register? 1. Registration will be first come first serve. There are limited spots available. 2. Go to Ernie’s Sports Experts in Fort St. John and pick up a registration form. 3. Complete the form and give it to the front desk personnel with payment enclosed. 4. Or print of form from email or website and take it to DCMHA drop box. 5. Some adjustments will be made based on registration numbers. 6. Include an email address on the registration form so registration can be confirmed on August 17th 7.
