Community Park
Dahlia & Azalea Drives
The land dedicated to the City in 1965
by Gus and Leonard Ottenheimer was
developed into Ottenheimer Park in
1968. This 11.4 acre park in Southwest
Little Rock is actually two areas joined
by a walking path in a residential area.
Railroad ROW forms its north boundary.
Community Center
Initially, an existing log farmhouse was·
converted into a community center. Later
a gymnasium then a covered patio, were
added. Ottenheimer Park Community
Center has an active Senior Citizens
program.
Lake
The lake is a focal point for the park,
providing a peaceful setting and natural
habitat.
Basketball Court
A single basketball court is located north
of the community center.
Tennis Court
A single tennis court is located west of
the community center.
Practice Softball Field
The north section of the park is a
practice play field for neighborhood
residents.
Playground and Picnic Tables
A large playground, scattered play
equipment, and picnic tables are located
between Dahlia Drive and the pond.
