11th Grade Jubilee Cup Tournament
Whakatane Town AFC would like to invite your club to participate in our 11 th Grade Jubilee Cup to be
held on Sunday, 7th of August 2016.
The entry is $100.00 per team, which covers administration costs and medals. As places in the
tournament are limited we will accept the first eight entries received with payment. Entries per club
may be limited to one or two teams dependent on the number of entries received. Teams may not
have more than six representative players.

RULES
1. On arrival, coaches must register their team lists and pick up the draw.
2. All players must be registered with the club they are representing.
3. NO DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVE TEAMS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
4. Nine-a-side with a maximum of 12 players per side.
5. Teams may not have more than six representative players.
6. Players must be aged 11 or under as at 31st December 2016. Girls are dispensated one year
and can be aged up to 12 as at 31st December 2016.
7. Nine-a-side games, 25 minute games, with the referee doing an immediate turn around at 12
mins. No half time or injury time. The hooter will sound at the start and completion of the
game, with a 5 minute break between games. Games starting late will be shortened to finish
on time.
8. Rolling substitutes will apply in all games.
9. Shin-pads must be worn at all times with socks pulled up.
10. Teams to supply alternative strip or bibs in any case of clashing strips.
11. FIFA rules will apply.
12. Each team must supply a CBR / Referee.
13. Size 4 balls will be supplied.
14. Points shall be 3 for a win and 1 for a draw. Goals for and against shall be kept.

15. The teams shall be in two divisions with the top two teams in each division playing off in a
semi-final, final format.
16. If two clear winning teams don’t result after the Round Robin play in a division, the result will
be settled by goal difference both for and against. If still tied there will be a “Penalty Shootout” to determine the winner.
17. Semi-finals will be 10 minutes each way. In the event of a tie in the semi-finals, extra time of 5
minutes each way will be played. If the game is still tied at the end of extra time it will go to
“Penalty Shoot-out”.
18. The Final will be played 15 minutes each way. If there is a tie, extra time of 5 minutes each
way will be played. If the game is still tied at the end of extra time, it will go to “Penalty Shootout”.
19. Tournament format:
Pool games: kick off 9.00am – games 25 minutes (immediate turn around at 12 mins) – playing
3 games each.
Semi-finals: games 25 minutes (immediate turn around at 12 mins) – 4 teams playing one
game each.
Final: game 15 minutes each way – 2 teams playing 1 game. Hooters / timing of the final will
be explained to the finalists on the day.
